In February the young people who attend Re-Entry, a charitable education facility based in Low Hill, helped some members of the older generation with their weekly shopping trip at Asda in Wolverhampton.
The aim of the trip was to get both generations working in harmony and to realise that by working together much more than normal could be achieved.
The young people were of great assistance in carrying and reaching high level items for the people in wheel chairs.
The older generation were very pleasantly surprised by the help and assistance they received from the young people and felt Re-Entry was an amazing facility that not only helped the young people learn more about themselves but after a few hours spent shopping had helped the older generation realise that actually young people can be very helpful, pleasant and kind.
A good day was had by all and kind thanks go to Re-Entry for arranging a fabulous event.
Future events will be arranged and advertised here.
