All your need to do is pop into reception, we will check you have a tenancy managed by us, you pay 10p and get a share certificate. Your membership is valid for the duration of your tenancy on our estate, if you leave and then move back to the area you will need to sign up again, unless you move to another property on our estate in which case you membership moves with you. Shareholders are invited to attend our Annual General Meetings and vote on important decisions about the EMB and it’s future.
Bushbury Hill EMB’s structure and membership ensure tenant involvement at the highest level. All our Board members live on the estate and are democratically elected by the wider membership. We currently have 886 members which represent 71.75% of the 966 homes we manage. The board are all volunteers and they are required to undertake training to allow them to fulfill their roles effectively.
