Wolverhampton Credit Union Information.

Wolverhampton Credit Union Update:

As we prepare for going into lockdown for a second time, I wanted to reassure you that the credit union is determined to maintain services as best we can. But please note, from Thursday November 5, there will be some small but significant changes: 
 
No more face-to-face appointments
 
Our Worcester Street branch remains closed to the public. In addition, we will cease all face-to-face loan appointments (for loans of £2,000 and above). All loans will need to be signed for and posted to us. This might lead to delays in funds being transferred. 
 
Main contact will be via email NOT phone
 
You might experience delays in services if staff have to self-isolate. So, from Thursday November 5, your main contact with the credit union is via email only (not phones) to contactus@wccul.co.uk. Please allow up to five working days (not including weekends) for a reply. 
 
Save time and hassle, bank online
 
In the meantime, the best way for members to bank with us during lockdown is online. You’ll save yourself a lot of time and hassle if you can go online to check your balances, do transfers, apply for loans. If you haven’t done so already, please register for an online account. Applying for loans during lockdown
 
During lockdown, we’re giving you three ways to apply for loans: online, all by post or a mix of post and email. Check out how to do so here. And remember, it’s taking us up to 10 working days, sometimes longer, to get a loan decision to you from the moment you submit your application and all the supporting information we need. Working days do not include weekends or Bank Holidays. Please do not keep chasing us for a decision – it just slows us down. Instead, please wait for us to contact you.
